No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Team Leading the Series

Championship Run
In the last two races, ORP and Iowa, Brad practiced and set-up the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota for 2009 defending series champion Kyle Busch, who by the way, went on to win both of those races. Kyle is quite possibly the best driver to ever compete in the NASCAR Nationwide Series and is setting historic records at a torrid pace. The No. 18 now sits first in points in the NASCAR Nationwide Series just 38 ahead of Penske Racing’s No. 88 car driven by Brad Keselowski.
Crew Chief Jason Ratcliff and the entire No. 18 team are the best in the garage and they keep the car in contention each and every week. Brad has done his part to keep the team in the top points position with solid driving in his four times behind the wheel this season and by supporting Kyle and the team at the races when he is not driving. Stay tuned each and every week and cheer on Kyle and Brad as they team together to try and bring the Team Championship to Joe Gibbs Racing for the second year in a row.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 19, 2010) – Joe Gibbs Racing NASCAR Nationwide Series driver Brad Coleman will practice and qualify the No. 18 Fleet Locate Toyota for 2009 defending series champion Kyle Busch this weekend in Indianapolis.
Busch, a two-time NASCAR Nationwide winner at ORP, will be busy down the street getting ready for the NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Coleman qualified outside pole last year at ORP and hopes to be able to put Busch up front for the start Saturday night.
“Last year we qualified outside pole and I will do everything I can to give Kyle a great starting position for the Kroger 200 this year,” said Coleman. “You always want to be the guy behind the wheel when they drop the green flag but it is also an honor anytime you are in a JGR car and able to work with one of the best all-time drivers in the sport.”
Coleman comes off a tough Gateway weekend where after fighting a variety of technical difficulties throughout the race he was eventually collected by teammate Matt DiBenedetto on lap 150 to end his eventful evening.

Driver, Joe Gibbs Racing team face numerous obstacles
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (July 18, 2010) – If there was a NASCAR Nationwide Series award for perseverance Saturday night at Gateway International Raceway, Brad Coleman would have been in Victory Lane.
A myriad of issues plagued the vaunted No.18 team throughout the weekend, but the driver and team kept bouncing back before a crash involving teammate Matt DiBenedetto finally knocked Coleman out of the race.
Even then, Coleman was the kind of teammate Coach Gibbs admires, trying to climb into DiBedenedetto’s damaged race car to finish the event and gain some team points for the No. 20. Ultimately, Coleman was simply too big for DiBenedetto’s seat, and the night came to an early end.
